Duo & Private
A programme built entirely around you, one-to-one or in a pair.
In a group class the instructor has to split their attention. In private and duo sessions that problem disappears: every repetition is watched, every form error corrected on the spot.
Duo means two people training in the same session, usually a partner, sibling or friend. Your levels can differ; the programme is built for that. It costs less than one-to-one and gives more attention than a group class.
Who it’s for
- People with a specific goal: a wedding, a return after surgery, prep for a sport
- Those with an injury history who want to progress carefully
- People who don’t feel comfortable in a group setting
- Two people who want to train together (duo)
How a class goes
Not a fixed template, it changes with your level and how you feel that day. The general flow:
- 01
Assessment
Posture analysis, movement tests and a talk through any pain history in the first session.
- 02
Building the programme
The right combination is set from reformer, mat, Cadillac, Chair and Barrel.
- 03
Practice and correction
Every move under the instructor’s eye. When form slips, it’s corrected immediately.
- 04
Updating the programme
The programme doesn’t stay fixed; as you progress the movements and the spring load change.
What it builds
- A programme built entirely for you, never fixed
- Form errors corrected before they set in
- A pace of progress that respects your limits
- A flow put together entirely for you
Frequently asked
- Do I need to find a partner for duo?
- Usually yes, duo is for training with someone you know. If you don’t have a partner, tell us; we can match you with someone at a similar level.
- What’s the difference between private and duo?
- In private the instructor focuses entirely on you. In duo it’s split between two people, though every rep is still watched. The price differs accordingly.
What else is there?
One class is enough, the body tells the rest.
We assess in the first session and build the programme together. So you can see the studio and meet your instructor before joining.
